• Watching Movies

  I love movies, and often access the internet movie database. My current 10 favorite movies (as of 9-11-00) are:

  7. The Big Chill

  Due to a recent infestation of children, I rent far more movies that I go see in the theater. This made me especially susceptible to the home theater virus which I contracted from Dylan McNamee. My current system has a prologic receiver, 5 speaker + sub, laser disc, DVD and an S-VHS Deck. Fortunately I have avoided going too crazy and I haven't purchased any expensive components or exotic brands yet.

• Working on my House

  I like repairing and remodeling and have been fortunate enough to live in houses that have needed a lot of both :) Last year's projects were installing central heating, and removing ugly blown-on ceilings. This year has seen new carpet and an attempt to tame the back yard.

• Eating Otter Pops

  Otter pops are the fruit of the gods. I really don't understand why everyone doesn't have a box of these in their freezer. My favorite flavor: Sir Isaac Lime.

• Climbing Mountains?

  I'm not too sure about this one. A friend of mine conned me into climbing Mount Shasta in Aug 2000. I decided to give it a try, figuring it will only get harder from here on out. In order to keep us honest Lila and I put our training logs on the web. At the time I thought I was training more than I needed to.. As it turned out, I had just enough gas in the tank to get to the top and back. Not sure I'd do something like this again, but it was fun once.
